Located in the Yamhill - Carlton wine country, Fiddlestix Ranch is a horseback riding facility specializing in family riding.

Fiddlestix Ranch is the culmination of a horse-lover's dream. From a young age, the owner-operator, Sarah Kimmel, had a vision of a family-run ranch that would be dedicated to training horses and people together in a safe and nurturing environment.
With an emphasis on family and educational experiences, Fiddlestix provides a variety of opportunities for family and friends to bond, learn, laugh and share, all while enjoying the magnificent beauty of the Oregon countryside.
We are especially proud of our high quality private lessons, fun group and family lessons, unforgettable birthday parties, riding centered summer camps and our career building apprentice program. If you are looking for a service not listed, please give the ranch a call and we will work with you to try to customize an experience for you or refer you to a barn that provides that service.
Our experienced instructors and student assistants are focused on safety and fun as our top priority. This being said, we are not a therapy barn. Your child will meet, brush and ride a gentle

TRAIL LESSON - $140/1.5 hours
For our current clients who would like to build skills beyond the arena. Lessons are taught in our fenced trail course located on the back of the property.
APPRENTICE
$300.00/mo
$25 riding test/interview
With a three month commitment for new apprentices.

The apprentice program is an after school/summer program that emphasizes the responsibility required to own & care for a horse, Learn the skills of horsemanship & basic instruction techniques.
(Fall-Spring, Tuesday-Friday 3-6pm with longer summer hours).

Wether or not your child wants to be an apprentice, attend summer camp or just learn more about horses, this program is the perfect way for them to be introduced to the many skills required to be a proficient equestrian or horse owner. This program covers basic horse work, riding skills and barn care.

Horse Ownership 101 Clinic
$50 per person or two family members/ ages 11 and up
Select Saturdays at 3:00pm
Perfect for new or prospective horse owners. This one hour class covers everything you want to know about horse ownership. The topics of each class are centered around subjects or questions submitted via email by the sudents of the class. This class includes hands on practice with horses and demonstrations.
Children must be accompanied by an adult.

Campers are assigned a horse to care for each day & will learn horsemanship & riding skills as well as games & other activities in a real ranch environment under the guidance of our certified staff.
